In 1989, Eric Connolly received his Certificate of Practice from the Ontario Association of Architects and now maintains his own practice in Georgetown, Ontario. The practice is involved primarily in institutional projects including schools, libraries, and senior’s facilities but carries out a range of other work including residential, commercial/industrial, infrastructure and Feasibility Studies.
The principals' background is mainly in the area of institutional projects. That experience has created a similar focus for current projects, although the nature of a "small-town" practice has brought a wide range of project types to the offices' attention.
Projects have been diverse in terms of programme, size and the architect’s role. While this role is traditionally as prime consultant, we have also worked comfortably as Sub-consultant with Envelope Specialists, Engineers and Project Managers as the prime consultants.
We provide partial service of as well as "full service" components for the Design and Implementation of a Project including:
- Pre-Design & Programming
- Building Code / Fire Code Reviews
- Feasibility Studies
- Schematic Design
- Design Development
- Construction Drawings
- Tender Services
- Contract Administration Services
- Post Construction Review
Eric Connolly Architect provides Feasibility Study Services as well as Fire Safety Plans and Ontario Building Code Reviews.
