This project provided a new Letter Carrier Depot for Canada Post Corporation. Our Client was a Project Management Company (MHPM Project Managers). The Building was restricted to a GFA of 1.731.43 sq.m. and was designed for LEED Certification and Barrier-free Standards.

PROGRAMME: Provide LEED Certified (achiever Silver Certification), new building for CPC. Building to Total GFA NOT to exceed 1,731.43 sq.m. Building comprised of an Operations Area (1,411 sq.m.) including Mail Sortation, Mail Lobby Area, Battery Re-charging Area and Recycling / Garbage Area. In addition, an Admininistration and Support Area including a Lunch Room / Meeting Room, Washrooms (Male & Female), Barrier-free “Special” WC, Lockers (Male / Female), Janitors Room, Superintendent Office, Supervisors (Computer) Office Area, IT / Telephone / Electrical Room, and Security Room was provided.
Exterior of Building to allow for 8 at Grade Docks and 1 High Dock c/w Dock Leveler on Interior. Exterior to allow for Garbage / Recycling Pick Up Area, and Taxi Queuing (1 Space). Parking compliment to include 5 Corporate vehicles, 2 Handicapped, 5 Visitor, 66 Employee (includes RR, SS and CUS Vehicles).
